人有人的故事，鸟也有鸟的故事。当鸟成了故事的主角，人成了模糊的背景，人该感到谦虚。在人的世界以外，有成千上万的鸟儿漫天飞舞，以人不懂的语言与星体沟通。出生不久，即能无误地飞行数千公里，安然抵达度冬的场所。旅途中有暴风雪、有沙漠、有枪响，有的捱不过风雪，有的渴死在沙漠中，有的来不及走，成了迷鸟，有的受了伤，拖着半边翅膀，一拐一拐的，最后葬身在成群螃蟹腹中。尽管旅途辛苦，鸟儿们却总是持续着，年复一年，无止尽地往返……
