<p>今年是郑作新院士诞辰100周年，在这个特殊的日子里，我们用具体的形式来表达我们对这位对鸟类研究与保育作出杰出贡献的老一辈科学家。<font color="#ff0000" size="4"><strong>一些事，一些物，唯有亲历，才能更受感动！</strong></font></p><p>郑作新院士简介：</p><p>1906.11-1998.6.27， 鸟类学家，动物地理学家。 福建福州长乐人。１９２６年毕业于福建协和大学生物系，同年赴美留学。１９３０年获美国密执安大学科学博士学位，并成为美国荣誉学会会员。回国后任福建协和大学生物系主任、教授、理学院院长、教务长等职。１９４５年-１９４６年赴美任客座教授。 <br/><br/>建国后，历任中国动物学会副理事长、理事长，中国鸟类学会理事长、名誉理事长，中国濒危动植物种科学组组长，中科院学部委员，动物研究所研究员、室主任，《动物学报》主编，《中国动物志》副主编，北京大学、北京师范大学、西北大学、兰州大学、山东大学等校生物系教授，英国“世界雉类协会”副会长、会长，国际鹤类基金会顾问、兼任北京自然博物馆业务副馆长、自然历史研究所所长。１９８０年当选中科院学部委员。还是美国科学荣誉学会会员、美国鸟类学会荣誉会员，日本、德国、英国等鸟类学会通讯会员，美国“国际鹤类研究中心”顾问，中国科协第二届全国委员会委员，中华人民共和国濒危动植物科学组组长。 <br/><br/>是中国鸟类学的奠基人，中国动物地理学的开拓者，野生动物保护的倡导者和宣传者，中国野生动物保护协会、鸟类协会、动物协会的发起者、组织者和领导者之一。撰写了１０００多万字的研究论文和专著，另外还发现了１６个鸟类新亚种，并提出了关于物种起源地及其他理论性问题的独特见解。 <br/><br/>有研究专著１９部、专业书册约３０本、研究论文１６６篇、科普文章２５０余篇。其代表作《中国鸟类分布名录》为中国鸟类学的经典著作。所著《中国鸟类系统分类研究》、《中国动物区划》、《中国经济鸟类志》、《中国鸟类志》获１９７８年全国科学大会奖。所著的《中国鸟类区系纲要》（英文版）获中科院自然科学一等奖和国家自然科学二等奖。１９８１年获美国密歇根大学“科学荣誉奖”；１９８９年５月获美国国家野生动物学会颁发的１９８８年“国际自然资源保护特殊成就奖”。１９９３年中国野生动物保护协会授予他“保护野生动物终身荣誉奖”。 </p>

<p>名字，是很容易让公众记住的，但往往流于形式，在这个浮躁的世界，大多数人实际并不愿意去了解名字后面的故事。</p><p>郑老先生的家乡长乐，大多数人还是对郑老比较陌生，只知道他老人家是一位鸟类研究方面有杰出贡献的院士，却不甚知郑老对整个中国鸟类学研究的推动有多么大的贡献啊！</p><p>我希望我们不仅仅是观鸟有很高水平的人，更是对推动观鸟活动有极大贡献的人！</p><p>仍然是那句老话：好事情为什么不去推广呢？</p>

<p>希望能从这次瞻仰和学习的活动中，每个人都能感受到一个震撼，一个感动！</p><p>也希望在这个展览期间大家到长乐的时候能去看一看。</p><p>当然，我更希望那里的领导多去蝙蝠洲湿地（被围垦），到鳝鱼滩湿地看看，对比下郑老先生对鸟类及其栖息地保护的做法。</p>
